I was on vacation the past two weeks so I am a little behind the power curve on recent events. Given that, I am dismayed at the whining of the American citizens being evacuated out of Lebanon. Rush covered this in depth on Wednesday and Thursday, however I never heard him connect a few dots in this matter.
One of the major reasons the evacuations are taking so long is that Israel has shut off Lebanon from the outside world. The only way in or out is by sea.
This morning the AP is reporting that a large group of Katrina evacuees is now suing FEMA to allow them to remain in fully subsidized housing and stipends. One group is here in San Antonio and are complaining that they have not yet found jobs or been able to recover from the Hurricane.
When does personal responsibility come into play here? After living in the Eutopian liberal paradise of New Orleans after all these years I am amazed at their audacity. Hopefully these degenerates are told in no uncertain terms to get bent! It’s high time that these leeches on society be forced to find a keep a job!
